U-W Gets Donation
Laramie, Wy – The School of Environment and Natural
Resources at the University of Wyoming will be renamed after two
German philanthropists who have donated three (M) million dollars
to the school.
U-W President Philip Dubois says the school will be renamed the
Helga Otto Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources in
honor of the Haub family.
Erivan Haub is chief executive officer of the Tenglemann Group,
a family-owned business with locations in 15 countries.
The couple have a summer home in the Pinedale area.
Their three (M) million dollar gift will be matched with state
funds for a six (M) million dollar endowment.
The U-W School of Environment and Natural Resources was founded
in 1993.
