Laramie, Wy – A national magazine ranks Wyoming's state government among the most business-friendly in the nation. Expansion Management Magazine put Wyoming third in its Legislative Quotient, which looks how state governments impact the business climate. Bob Jensen with the Wyoming Business Council says this ranking is significant because any business reading Expansion Management Magazine is looking to relocate or expand.
Various magazines have doled out high marks for Wyoming's business climate recently. Jensen says those positive ranking are helping business recruitment.
He also says this ranking recognizes how Wyoming invests its funds. The state scored well because of the focus on infrastructure and education investments over the funding of state government operations.
