Students Could Win Hathaway Scholarships in 2006

Laramie, WY – The Hathaway Scholarship will provide millions of dollars every year for high school graduates going to college. The exact details of the plan are still up for debate though, including when it will start. The co-chair of the committee drafting the plan Tex Boggs says right now starting the program in 2006 is the plan. Boggs says if the legislature passes the Hathaway Program it will be difficult to get it up and running in just a few months. The committee is asking that some people start working on rules before it becomes law to help that process.
