Fremont school district has more kids and more graduating
Riverton, Wy – Fremont County School District 25 reports that its enrollment rates have increased significantly, while drop out rates have gone down.
District 25 Superintendent Craig Beck says the student numbers
in district schools have stabilized after it had been losing
pupils.
In the last three years, the school district is seeing an annual
enrollment increase of at least 100 students. The superintendent
says the more programs, tailored to what students want, are also
cutting the dropout rate.
School District 25 faculty say the sudden influx of students may
also mean the Fremont County business economy is rebounding.
