Democrat Announces For U-S Senate
Casper, Wy – Democrat Dale Groutage formally
announced his bid for the U-S Senate today (Wednesday) in Casper.
It is the first run at public office for the 61-year-old retired
military weapons engineer from Lander.
Groutage touts his scientific background, saying the state needs
a senator who understands how research and technology can benefit
the state's natural resources.
He also vows to fight for affordable health care, social
security, high paying jobs and growth and development on Wyoming's
terms.
The Senate seat he is seeking is now held by two-term Republican
Craig Thomas, who will announce his political intentions later.
