Although Wyoming's defense played a tremendous game, a trick play put the game out of reach Saturday as the Cowboys beat San Diego State 20-10. The play came in the 4th Quarter when Corey Bramlet flipped the ball behind him to Ivan Harrison who lofted the ball into the endzone to a wide open Dustin Pleasant. Pleasant says it allowed him to redeem himself after a couple of earlier drops. He says it was a play the Cowboys practiced all week.
The victory equals Wyoming's win total of last year and is the first time since 1997 that the Cowboys have beaten the Aztecs. It's also Wyoming's first three game win streak since 1999. The Cowboys try and make it four straight when they travel to face B-Y-U.
