Cowgirls Basketball Beat Utes 56 to 50

Laramie, WY – It was a big win for the Wyoming Cowgirl basketball team last night as they defeated the Utah Utes 56 to 50. This is the first time Wyoming has come out with a victory against Utah in 16 years. Utah has beaten the Cowgirls in the last 30 consecutive games. Junior guard Jodi Bolerjack agrees the win was well worth the effort and is pleased with how the hard work is paying off. The Cowgirls were led by junior forward Justyna Podziemska and junior guard Dominique Sisk, both scoring 13 points.
