Eminent Domain Amendments Undone

Cheyenne, WY – But industry groups had wanted to make changes. Stockgrowers Association Executive Vice President Jim Magagna wants to change a provision that some say levels the playing field for all landowners. It allows for comparable payments when land is being used by a company. But Magagna says the value of the land is only one component. But other landowner groups like the provision, along with other parts of the bill they say enhances Wyoming's current eminent domain law.
