New Cell-Phone Tours for Teton Park

Laramie – At Grand Teton National Park, your cell phone can now tell you about the history of the park. Park spokeswoman Julena Campbell says she hopes dialing in to hear the two-to-three-minute messages helps give visitors a good experience. One of the cell phone messages tells the story of how locals met with a federal government employee in 1923 at an old cabin in Moose to talk about preserving the beauty of the land. That meeting eventually led to the creation of the park.

Rock Springs Death Investigated

Rock Springs, Wy – Police in Rock Springs found a woman
stabbed to death in an apartment yesterday (Monday).
A neighbor called police to report a possible death at the
apartment building at about 6 a-m Monday.
The Rock Springs Police Department's Tactical Response Team went
to the apartment and found the woman's body.
The Sweetwater County coroner identified the victim as
32-year-old Dawn Brandon.
Police found a 27-year-old man in the apartment and took him
into custody.

Jury Selection Continues For Wheatland Man

Greeley, Colorado – Jury selection has resumed this morning in the attempted-murder trial of a former University of Northern
Colorado punter.
Mitch Cozad of Wheatland, Wyoming is also charged with
second-degree assault in an attack last September on Rafael
Mendoza.
He was stabbed in his kicking leg. Police have said they believe
Cozad stabbed Mendoza in an attempt to get his job as the starting
kicker.
So many questionnaires had to be printed for potential jurors
